Solid fighter but who has he beaten? I mean Dillian freaking Whyte was a kickboxer and he already has been better boxers in his short time as a boxer than Ortiz. Just because he is Cuban doesn’t mean he is great. He has solid technics but what did he do with those technics when he faced Wilder?

Ortiz sucks right now. He is a 40 y/o (probably older) with high blood pressure who got KTFO by Wilder in the first fight. Aside from that his best win is Jennings and he never won anything significant in the amateurs or pro's...that's the reality

Ortiz has only lost two rounds in his entire career and he was winning those rounds until Wilder caught him.
Even at his age, he would embarrass everyone. Wilder better be careful because if it goes 12, Ortiz wins.

Idk bout that. He'll get his chances doe so we'll see.
I think mainly hes a guy whos done what hes supposed to vs lesser opposition & then came up short, if competitively, in his biggest fight.
I try to never hype a guy too much whos biggest fight is an L. Its easy to get behind those types cuz "next time" but I've seen next time never come often & I've seen the same failure when it did & far far far more often then does one turn into Azumah Nelson when he got his 2nd big fight.

Ortiz and Povetkin are still some of the best in the division, they're just old.
