The boxing establishment is trying to set up Canelo vs Ward.

I believe this was the original plan, and the reason for robbing GGG and Kovalev. They used the foreign stars to try to set up the big American vs Mexican cash grab, but I think Ward hurt his knee midway through the Kovalev rematch, and that messed up their plans. Also explained why he got so desperate and started fouling Kovalev. He wasn't sure he could go late in that fight.

Canelo and Ward are good fighters, but neither have any performances vs top 10 guys their size as spectacular as even the top 5 best performances vs top 10 guys of Kovalev and GGG in their primes. They were not quite that good to just look spectacular and dominate 3 guys like that every year to become superstars by themselves, especially Ward, so the boxing establishment needed two patsies who they could use to vault Ward and Canelo to superstardom. When I say superstars, I mean like Floyd or Pacquiao. Canelo was already a big star, but they needed the patsie to take him to that hundred-million-dollar-fights level.

With Kovalev-Ward, Kovalev's drinking problem at that point in time was well known, it showed badly in his performance vs Chilemba before Ward, so they knew it was a good bet.

With GGG-Canelo, they knew from the Brook and Jacobs fights that he was declining and ripe for the picking. Remember they don't need to patsy to be so ripe that you win 12-0, they just need it to be competitive enough to give the "W" to the guy they want to get it. Which they did.

Now Kovalev has cleaned up his lifestyle and hired a good conditioning coach, and he looks a threat again, so the way they're going to engineer the win for the house fighter this time is to force him to take the fight only 9 weeks after the biggest war of his career vs Yarde, the biggest puncher who hit Kovalev with the most punches of his entire career, where Kovalev was almost knocked out.

They want Canelo vs a damaged version of Kovalev, then they're going to make the "Kovalev was spectacular, but these two guys, Canelo and Ward, were better, so you have to watch this fight!" superbowl of big fights, and casual fans will fall for it because they won't know the details about what really happened in, and around, the Ward fights, or how long it takes to heal from an 11 round war at 36 years old, etc. They will just see, and believe the media telling them, that Ward and Canelo both beat Kovalev, and they will fall for it completely.

I just want to give yall a head's up of what I think the plan is. We'll see what goes down. Maybe spread the word ahead of time so at least hardcore fans are woke to the bull**** even if casual fans won't be.

Canelo / Ward was never in the Plans and Canelos team would never in a million years make that fight

The reason Canelo/Golovkin / Ward / Kovalev happend because those were the only 4 recognized names at HBO and they needed to match them all up to generate PPvs because HBO was losing steam and relevance in Boxing and those were the only fights they could offer that were Great fights.

Canelo targeting Kovalev has nothing to do with Kovalev being Wards Replacement , It has everything to do with Kovalevs Name still holds value among casual Boxing fans and they can sell it as Canelo doing something great jumping up 2 divisions to fight a Future HOFer , When the reality is he’s jumping up 2 Divisions to fight a 37 year old who’s rapidly on the decline and will be most likely a easy mark for Canelo by beating a Future HOFer becoming a 4 division Champion and have People Believing he’s among the P4P best in the sport and will raise his Legacy in the Future because People will look at his resume and just concentrate on all the Ws he has over other HOFers , Not taking into account the age they were when he fought them or the generosity of the Judges that got him there

They’ll just scan his resume and be like “ Canelo really must be one of his eras Greatest , He’s one of the few that ever got a draw on a scorecard against Mayweather / He completely Dominated Cotto/ Mosley / Handed Golovkin his first L /. (Potentially) jumps 2 divisions and gets a W over Kovalev.

Never considering or Knowing that everyone of these fighters were over 35 and none near their Physical prime or that he got near shutout & embarrassed and made to look like a Amateur against Mayweather/ He needed almost in the verge of definite signs of corruption from the Judges against Golovkin / The Cotto fight was close with many scoring it a draw or that Mosley was 40+ hadn’t won in 3+ years and since that fight would never go on to beat a fighter over C class

Canelo and the powers that be are Using Smoke & Mirrors to Create a Legacy that isn’t anywhere near a true representation of his true Standing in the Sport

And if Judged like every other Fighter his Standing would be look at completely different. He would have lost every time he faced a #1 in the division 147-Mayweather/154-Lara / 160-Golovkin and had many other inflated scorecards throughout his career , he dropped belts to get out of Mandos / had Organizations making up imaginary titles so he wouldn’t have to face Mandos that were deemed a threat and has also been popped for PEDs

Can’t really make a case that he’s anywhere near his eras Best Fighter when the truth is used

        Sorry for the novel
