    Christian Castillo, son of former world lightweight champion, Jose Luis Castillo, is hospitalized in Tijuana, Baja California, fighting for his life, after suffering a brain injury a few days ago after a sparring session while he was getting ready to go up to the ring this past Friday in the border city.

    Hope he makes a full recovery. Boxing is no joking. We got these couch potatoes on here that spend their days making hate thread about modern days gladiators. Hopefully it makes them think a little.

      This is becoming unreal.
      Wishing a speedy and healthy recovery to Castillo.
      It was so hard to enjoy the Ramirez-Hooker with all this happening

                  More hits to the head are taken in sparring than real fights, the accumulation is not good, many sparing sessions are wars.
