    Two-time super featherweight world champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis will make history on Saturday, July 27 when he becomes the first Baltimore native to make a homecoming defense in nearly 80 years. Davis will defend his WBA Super Featherweight World Championship against mandatory challenger Ricardo "Cientfico" Nnez live on SHOWTIME from Royal Farms Arena in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions.

            Super talent, super heavy

            I'm just saying when you weigh in at 130 and on fight day you are a Welterweight that's a big advantage. Boxing need to go back to same day weigh ins.

                Honestly, same-day weigh-ins are very dangerous. Fighters need more time to rehydrate, otherwise both guys may well enter the ring compromised.
