Whyte outboxed Rivas. His power kept Rivas off him for most of the fight. Rivas' other opponents havent been able to do that. Too big a step up for Rivas

Thought Rivas looked more skilful in the first round but that all evaporated once Whyte's jab got going. I think Rivas is a better athlete but Whyte leveraged his size and reach into a much better gameplan. I don't think Rivas was at all prepared for the jab. Even with the knockdown I can't see anything other than a wide points win.

Have definitely overrated Rivas.

He's one dimensional and always has been. His performance vs Jennings was pretty garbage considering Jennings is past his best.

Not sure where Rivas got the hype but I did think this fight would be fairly close. It ended up being that somewhat, but it was all Whyte for the most part. Whyte has a good performance here.
