Ehh..I mean..since theyve fought Canelo has secured a 168 “title” and fought Jacobs. GGG fought Rolls. Most people give the benefit of the doubt when you give em what they want. We all wanted jacobs and many didnt think itd happen so soon so now everyone is more willing to accept an ehh fight coming off a tough/hard one.

GGG doesnt have a history of big fights so people see it as him having this bigger profile now and want to see him get the best available. It’s a double standard for sure but thats what happens when you put yourself out there at least once a year in a tough fight.

I see you conveniently left out Cotto and the fact that Smith was for a 154 title and Khan was at 155.

Before Jacobs, GGG fought Kell Brook, Dominic Wade, Lemiuex, and Willie Monroe Jr.

GGG fans cannot talk about any other fighters resume. That should be the last thing y'all talk about

Had he gotten the nod from the 1st fight there wouldn’t have been rematch
IDGAF what he felt obligated to and secondly that's just your opinion. The fact is he fought GGG twice. Once was after a year lay off and knee surgery. GGG took 9 months off and dragged Rolls up to 164.

This fight would be the same as JC junior fight.

I do not want to see this fight. It sucks, it's not above the other more interesting bouts available and should be plan E if all the other fights fall through. We are running out of time to book a fight for September so I'm hoping they don't just fight this kid. We need to push back against this fight from happening.

I will not be a GGG fan and defend this fight like they did. Shameless biiitches.

All I want to see is Canelo and Triple G beating Andrade and Charlo like I know they can. Then fighting a third fight to complete an awesome trilogy.

Looks like the Kova fight fell through after the offer was rejected and since we're crunched for time, this fight is becoming a possibility.
Don't try to act so noble. You only started this thread to trash GGG fans for supporting the GGG vs Munguia fight. I did not read any posts from GGG fans supporting him fighting Munguia and as a GGG fan I never supported it and thought it was a mismatch and a certain easy win for GGG. If GGG can't fight Canelo I want him to fight a champion to try become a champion. That would mean fighting Andrade, Jermall, Callum Smith or Saunders. You are a big time GGG hater spewing hate on him and his fans every chance you get and starting threads like this one to hate on him so more. You are annoying as hell. I'll bet you all my points that Canelo loses his next fight if he fights Kovalev or GGG. Let me know if you want to bet. I'd bet cash if I could. I will be betting cash against him if ether of those fights happen. He showed signs of going down hill to me in the Jacobs fight and I think his time for a loss is coming in September unless he lands the Mnguia cherrypick.

Absolutely! Because we all know this would be an easy cherrypick which he’s known for

? I was genuinely curious why you asked that question before...as far as I could tell there was no hidden reason behind those fights for Canelo other than they were medium reward low risk fights...no real issue with it for me...that's the perks of being the A side...but yeah just not sure what your original post was in reference to...or this one either tbh ;0...I don't really hate on Canelo at all so not sure what this post means..

I mean...Cotto wasn't really Cotto then though ya know.

Wade was low level but those other 3 guys you listed for GGG are all good to really good fighters...all different styles...and he KOd all 3 and lost maybe 2 rounds in all 3 fights...some of the over the top criticism of GGG's resume seems strange to me man.

Just seems likes a talking point to try and diminish him...his resume is as strong as any active fighter...probably the best right now honestly...people talking about Pac as FOTD...he has like no good wins in this decade and a few bad/clear losses lol...idk I just don't really understand some people's analysis of fighters/resumes I guess man

                    I honestly don't mind it

Munguia is going to get ****ed up but it's a decent showcase fight

Serious questions my friend...how tough is any fight when you know you are going to get the decision when it goes 12 rounds...when you call all the shots as the A side and can control venue/weight/when you fight a guy (Mosley Cotto etc).

I don't really hate on Canelo but other than Lara and GGG I've never seen really any big test...maybe Jacobs... and again he knows if he goes 12 he will get the best decision possible so that's never really a big risk ya know.

GGG also took on Jacobs before Canelo...and would have fought Jacobs Canelo and Canelo again in 3 fights had that test for clen not come in...I do agree that GGG is playing the business man role now though...

But I'm glad he is being smart about it at least...the people who don't like him would just assume see him fight the top guys one night after the other...he has had a great career and earned the right to be smart imo...I would like to see him in with the top guys around 160 and 168 though.

Also from how easily and similarly Canelo and GGG dispatched of Fielding and Rolls....and considering how closely GGG and Canelo fought each other...it's hard to really make a big distinction between Rolls and Fielding imo man.
