AJ Vs. Ruiz in Mexico, realistic or not?

What do you think guys, do you really think this is possible? Ruiz wants it, but lets be honest for a moment... British fans along with the majority of other people don't want to travel to a dangerous third world country and I highly doubt any of the natives of Mexico would have the money to pay for the tickets to this, nor do I believe they'd add much to the PPV numbers.

So, why are people so set on this happening in Mexico, what do they have to gain from it being in an undesirable place? Right now I'd consider AJ already having fought in Ruiz backyard, so there is no reason for this to happen.

Wembley, Britain is obviously the best location for this fight. Ruiz gains much more from this, he does the following from this -
    • Fights away from home just like AJ did
    • Gets a much higher percentage of the PPV
    • Maximise the total PPV buy-rate
    • Gains more respect for fighting an away fight just like Joshua did

Granted, I don't believe Ruiz wins the rematch regardless of the location. I just find it bizarre that people want it to happen there, it benefits nobody happening there the fight is too big for Mexico, facts.

    Unrealistic.

If it wasn't put in the contract that the rematch has to take place in the UK, then I think Ruiz's team and DAZN will push for the fight taking place in the states. And obviously Joshua's team will push for the UK. They may even offer Ruiz a bit more money for it to take place in the UK.

I don’t think it has any chance of being made for these two reasons
First Hearn won’t let that happen and secondly Dazn won’t let that happen
Remember they have a fight also , they are trying to conquer new territory , not in Mexico but in the United States
They have an agenda also , their the big chief , not Eddie or Joshua for that case
That’s my take , far from the 20+ millions they give their fighter

Ruiz already is set for life from that payday he got for jumping in short notice, but the money he would get for a fight in UK would be substantially more.

The ball is in his court so to speak, rematch has to happen If AJ wants it to. I think it would be a lot more than just a bit more money for it to happen in the UK.

Your all forgetting the biggest factor , the engine that could
          Dazn
Skipper wants to conquer the States not Mexico or UK
I think that would end up backfiring for Dazn
For what one fighter , they’ll be many more AJ’s to come especially if Dazn is in this for the long run

They make too much money in the UK to even consider this.

No Chance, why would AJ give Ruiz home advantage?

I would say England, Vegas or LA rather than in Mexico.

I doubt there is enough money to make it happen in Mexico. I mean f#ck Canelo doesn't even fight in Mexico. You'd think if any big fight happened in Mexico it'd be one involving Canelo.
