Comments Thread For: Okolie vs. Massey, Fitzgerald vs. Rose, July 6 at Manchester Arena

Lawrence Okolie will defend his British and Commonwealth Cruiserweight titles against Jack Massey on the same night that Scott Fitzgerald defends his WBA International Super-Welterweight title against Brian Rose in a huge Preston vs. Blackpool derby at Manchester Arena on Saturday July 6, live on Sky Sports in the UK and DAZN in the US.

Okolie should try to prove he's world level soon

They talked up Lebedev-Okollie yet they gave us Okollie-Massey.
Typical matchroom BS, dunno how people continue to consume this bollocks

Rose is washed up, but I guess it's OK as a stay busy fight for Fitz coming off that big upset and with the Cheeseman fight coming up next. Okolie on the other hand is wasting away with these fringe British level guys, Massey will get smashed bad, don't understand why they couldn't even get a fringe Euro guy like Kadje, Laggoune or Micki Nielsen. This is just a chance to rehab Okolie's image a bit by getting him in with a guy that he will smash with ease

Okolie needs to at least try the washed guys like Kalenga or something. No point in this imo.

The ‘Mad Man’ puts his belt on the line for the first time against former World title challenger Rose (35-1-1, 8 KOs)

Rose has only lost once? He wishes.
