Before this fight I was saying that Canelos the best of this era like Fmj was in the last. (love them or hate them)

I've been telling ppl this for yrs now,I know greatness when I see it(which is why I think Spence is the best ww of this era) & I knew hed beat ALL the best current middleweights & would rise to the occasion which he has.

I knew these things because as I know many on here have been saying on here for yrs, canelo having faced the best from a extremely young age has allowed him to learn things & skills other boxers never possibly could w/o facing the skilled opponents ginger has from day 1.

I'm a BIG jacobs fan,but it actually annoyed me to see him do what I was worried hed do beforehand based on his words:which is that I thought hed "run" & still expect a victory over someone like the current canelo who was able to walk down ggg ffs.

I cannot figure out why Jacobs left his hands at home so much, even though I was (as well as several others like you) saying that theres a reason Canelos opponents do that, I didn't think he would look so impotent (pun intended)

Easy Win for Canelo Saturday Night

Not a Canelo fan by any stretch, too many crooked decisions in his past. But!!! I was throughly impressed with his performance Saturday night. Canello, the smaller guy fighting Jacobs who for all intents and purposes should be fighting at Super middleweight or Light Heavyweight and who took a 1 million financial penalty in order to enter the ring the much bigger man Saturday night and that made no difference. Canelo fought a masterful fight and Jacobs showed that even with the size advantage he was the "B" side of the ticket in regards to skill. I thought just 3 rounds were up for grabs and Canelo won the rest, Jacobs corner saw a completely different fight than the rest of the world or knew their fighter was not skilled enough to fight any other way. Great win for Canelo

Let's all admit it: The Ginger Gringo is a fine champion. If he spoke even just a little English from time to time, his profile would be interstellar. As has been mentioned already, Floyd's performance looks even better as the years roll by. All that said, a fight against Andrade doesn't excite me even though it makes him undisputed MW king. I'd prefer to see him take on a Callum Smith or even a Bivol if he were to drop down to 168.
Everybody should enjoy Canelo no matter who your real fave is.
