As for Showtime, I watch Shameless, The Circus, Action, various documentaries and movies, etc. I could easily give up ESPN. I'd hate to give up Showtime.

But everybody is different. I'm not saying what the better deal is. I'm saying what interests me more.
“what little boxing espn has” wtf?????? They have 30 shows a year on regular espn. Way more than Fox and way more than fox and FS1 combines.

    What are you taking about?

Nobody will buy a Spence fight if the opponent isn't known. Same with Bud. Bud packs his arena in Nebraska and Spence has been recently been selling good in his arenas. Don’t ever try to say that Spence is the draw over Bud. Foh with that bull**** lmao..

And if Thurman beats Pacquiao, then you are crazy if you don't think it does as many, if not at least close to the amount of buys as Spence vs Crawford.

LOL, because a fight did 360k buys doesn't mean only 360k people watched him. Don't play ****** here. Obviously plenty of people streamed the fight and PPVs attract fight parties that regular network fights don't. And I'll tell you what, doing 360k buys damn sure helped him be a much bigger star than someone doing 150-200k buys. This dude Spence on his first PPV legit did as many buys as both Ward/Kovalev fights and more than GGG vs Lemieux and GGG vs Jacobs fights. Heck, did possibly damn near as many buys as both Crawford PPVs.

Crawford is contractually obligated to ESPN? Oh yeah, tell me more please. Does he have some type of exclusive deal? So you're telling me with his extension which has him tied to TR for four more years, cannot fight outside of ESPN? Interesting, so why would one do that when damn near all his competition is on another network? He's not THAT ****** is he? Find me if you can where it says he has a full on exclusive deal with ESPN, REALLY interested in reading about that.

So tell me, because you seem to agree with me this isn't a MEGA fight yet and unlikely of any joint PPVs, then how does this fight happen? What do you propose?
arum spoke about it saying guys like Loma and Crawford are exclusive to espn ever for purse bids if they lose. ”he’s not that ****** is he?” Wed he just made 5.5 mil in an easy fight vs khan. Yet guys like wilder, Ortiz are ****** enough to not go for those types of deals lol.

As for Spence and Crawford you are making a big deal out of one fight. What if we said compare their couple previous fights before hand? Let’s compare Crawford-Benavidez and Crawford-indongo to Spence vs ocampo and Spence vs Peterson. Now it seems like Spence should fight on espn doesn’t it and showtime and fox cut out. See how that works?

Spence benefitted from having the better dance partner this last time around and by the way we didn’t get to the actual fights themselves. Did Mikey ever look like he was about to get ko’d did he get dropped ? Or was the fight boring?

Crawford-Khan wasn’t Castillo-Corrales either but we had a knockdown and Khan looked like he was gonna get ko’d when he decided to quit.

The moral of the story is te time isn’t right for Spence Crawford because the money isn’t there to satisfy both parties.

And for thurman yeah if he beats Pacquiao it raises his stock but people know it’s an old Pacquiao and he would probably win in his new style which isn’t crowd pleasing which leads to Blah fights like his fight vs garcia. I think the only reason the Lopez foght turned out to be good was because he was rusty.

Except PPVs are the moment of truth for fighters with EVERYONE having an equal chance of the same amount of buys. This isn't where one network has 30 million subscribers compared to another that has 90 million or another with 120 million. PPVs give fighters the same opportunity to be seen as others that fight on bigger networks.

Spence dominating a P4P fighter was still impressive to a lot of people. He just did 360k buys in his DEBUT and will continue to pushed like crazy on FOX. This isn't just a one fight thing. PBC will be doing everything they can to make him THE star of the brand. However you put it, doing that amount of buys in your PPV is GREAT and his stardom didn't take a hit in the Garcia fight.

Arum of course would love for those two to never fight outside of ESPN, but show me where it says Crawford has an exclusive deal.

Um yes, Crawford isn't THAT ****** is he to sign a full exclusive deal with ESPN when his competition is elsewhere is he? Sure he is getting great pay days and I've said he was more than fine re-signing with TR that has treated him well, but did he think he was going to get other big fights at WW with a deal like this? Crawford would be fine for the rest of the career fighting the types of guys he's been facing recently? So he did that deal just for money eh? Cool.

Time is not right? Sure, but give me a proposal of how the fight happens say early 2020. How do we get this great match up?

meanwhile, FOX is completely free, cordcutters can get showtime for $8.99 a month and FS1/FS2 add about $3 to your bill.
Oh...what was your old acct name again? Wasn’t it zero something?

lol Spence did 360k ppvs. his next fight vs Spence will do less.

Look at Shane mosleys ppv debut vs Oscar de la hoya. How did that go? All his ppvs. 2 Oscar. 2 feroz. Floyd Pac.

              See how opponent matters.

Just because u get push doesn’t mean people buy. Espn has Crawford khan every where last week. Much more promotion than fox for Spence fight week.

It was on every espn platform plus social media. I couldn’t escape it.

That’s why I said if it was Spence Khan instead it would have about the same buys.

Now u think Spence vs Porter who almost everyone thought lost To Ugas does more
Than Spence vs Mikey? Good luck with that lol.

Um, when did I say Spence vs Porter does more than Spence vs Mikey? I said Spence vs Porter does more than Crawford vs Khan if the initial rumors are true. And that is true, Spence vs Porter will do more than 200k buys.

LOL, FOX promoted Spence vs Mikey much better than ESPN promoted their PPV. Couldn't escape it? Their damn preview show got moved to ESPNEWS FFS. FOX did a much better job promoting the fight, but really this will be par for course for ESPN. What the hell can they do when they have UFC PPVs every month? They can't promote the Crawford vs Khan PPV the week of the UFC PPV.

You keep ignoring that Spence has FAR better options with bigger names on his side. There is no PPV Crawford could do that will do better than Spence vs Thurman or Spence vs Pacquiao or even Spence vs Porter. If there is one, please due tell. Not only did his PPV seemingly blow Crawford's PPV out of the water, but he also has better future options. So what the hell do you think will happen from now to when these two actually fight? Which name is going to continue to get bigger?

You still haven't proposed to me how this fight gets made for early next year. Break it down to me since you admitted this isn't a big enough fight for a joint PPV. So how does it get made?

exactly. It came down to Spence had a popular Mexican opponent.

He couldn’t crack 800k views on showtime

Here is the schedule on my cable lineup for next month:

                    May 4 - ESPN Beterbiev
May 10 - Showtime Ruben Villa
May 11 - ESPN Miguel Berchelt
May 11 - Fox Jarrett Hurd
May 18 - Showtime Deontay Wilder
May 25 - ESPN Masayuki Ito
                    May 25 - FS1 Austin Trout

I care about the Wilder, Hurt and Trout fights a lot. I don't care about the other fights at all. The ESPN shows are foreign fighters I couldn't care less about. The PBC shows are domestic fighters I care a lot about.

I'm not telling anybody what they should or shouldn't enjoy. I'm telling you what I enjoy. Not sure why that's a problem for you. ESPN almost never has a fight that interests me. PBC routinely has fights that interest me. If the opposite applies to you, that's cool.

i never admitted it wasn’t big enough to be a point ppv lmao. I said it wasn’t big enough for both sides involved to do.

Espn had the fight everywhere. Had the press conference and weigh in line for all their fights. Had that logo everywhere. For fight week I said.

Spence has better options but those options are dwindling. Porters poor performance took a lot out of that fight. If u can get beat Ugas who lost to dulorme if the low blows weren’t point deductions how do u beat Spence? His performance ruined that fight as much as kavaliauskas pathetic showing vs Robinson even though i thought he won ruined his shot at Crawford for now at least.

No one is particularly interested in Spence ca porter to be honest. I’d rather see him vs danny garcia now.

So u said beating garcia makes him a star in one sentence then admit his ppvs will go down vs Porter later lol.

So now he’s a bigger star but sells less ppvs lol okay sure.

Then u say his ppvs blow Crawford out of the water lmao. Dude neither guy sold 400k ppvs. Nobody blew nobody out lol. Spence had the better dance partner and did 100-150k more buys. That’s nothing to brag about. Crawford would have done about that number if he had fought garcia. You are acting like Spence did 800k buys and Crawford 200k lmaooo. Thst would be blowing it out of the water.

As for Crawford he’s got likely Kell Brook next. That’s a fight on even par as Spence vs porter. Brook is physically bigger than Crawford and already laid the blueprint on how to beat porter
