    The defeat suffered by Eleider Alvarez at the hands of Sergey Kovalev last Saturday night in Texas took everyone by surprise and in retrospect, it is probably the result of overconfidence on behalf of the Montrealer's team. Alvarez lost by unanimous decision and lost his WBO light heavyweight belt in a rematch where he was quietly beaten by his opponent's strategy.

        It's like taking a big crap, and then next time hoping to also take a big crap. News flash: not all craps can be really big and impressive. Some are just smaller than others.

        Now the smell of the crap has to enter the equation too, but that would just take too long and I don't have the time, I need to go and take a crap.

          He has an excellent jab. He at least used it in the first fight to start the fight. K started coming on in that fight but he ate a good number of hard jabs. Alvarez didn’t throw big power shots until later in the fight. This fight he basically never used the jab and went for home runs from the start. It was a terrible game plan. Almost as bad as the Rams.

          He has too much of a counterpunches mentality it seems to keep with an aggressive jab. He stopped using it in fight one but landed the big shot which got him the win.

          Credit to K. He fought an excellent fight and simply was more aggressive. He outworked Alvarez massively in the fight.

            It doesn't even matter was that a good plan or not... But you should always have a plan B!

              His corner was just terrible
              Their the ones who should be preaching what he needs to do
              That’s why you have cornermen
              Maybe the fighter forgets to execute the game plan but not the fughin corner
