A good win for him, but he's no longer 'Krusher'. He loses badly to Gvozdyk and probably loses on points to Bivol. Beterbiev destroys him and Browne may outpoint him. Kovalev is at his best when he bulldozes, not boxes.

He won this one quite well, but Kovalev will always be in fear of getting hit hard from now on. Even in this fight he showed facial expressions at times that were not the same of the Krusher of old.

... because of his age and his "drinking problem" Kovalev is seriously weak by now... he may try to earn some more big money, though...

I'm happy for his win, he's shown he could overcome adversities and raise-up his head again in the LHW division, even though i agree with you, the Krusher spirit has gone forever. Now, another challenge awaits him (in a court, in March), let's see what happens. As far as next potential opponents, i think it could be a good matchup with both Bivol and Beterbiev (this last one is no longer the beast he used to be imo, as we've seen in his latter fight...), but he'd definitely better stay away from Gvozdyk, the real deal at 175, in this moment.

😂Hate KOV or love him HE WON !!

Bradley knew it , Andre and others were in grave doubt but ate their Crow well !

Now there is tremendous doubt what Andre would do with Kov.

Kov was definitely robbed in the first fight and looked horrible in his 2nd so NOW I have NO DOUBT that ANDRE HAS DOUBT 😂😂😂😂

I agree with you on the alcohol issue. I believe that this may be the main reason of his decline, especially when you consider that dehydration is one of the principal consequences of a drinking habit.

Still, he did very well last night. Didn't lose concentration and hit Alvarez with good flurries.

And Zurdo Ramirez thinks he can handle that, lol. Kovalev murders him.
