Comments Thread For: Wilder: I'd Rematch Fury Over Facing Joshua 9 Times Out of 10!

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder said he would take "a rematch immediately" of last Saturday's draw with lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury "nine times out of 10" over a unification with IBF/WBA/WBO/IBO counterpart Anthony Joshua" in a video interview produced by Premier Boxing Champions and FOX.

9 times out of 10 leaves a lot of wriggle room there Deontay! If he is so sure he wants a rematch, why not say that it is a guarantee?

“Same location” haha yeah I bet that’s a sticking point. He knows he’s not getting that decision in the U.K.

“Same location, same venue and [for] the same money, it’s definitely Fury"
That one sentence of broken English from Wilder says it all. Fury will not get a rematch in the UK like he wants, or anywhere else that does not suit Wilder and his team. Wilder knows that dodgy judges are the only reason he's still got that belt.
Fury may as well get himself to the top of the rankings with all of the sanctioning bodies by schooling the likes of Whyte, Miller, Pulev and Ortiz. By the time Joshua has beaten Wilder twice, Fury will be 1st mandatory across the board and then we'll really see who the king of HW's is - it's between 2 men and neither is Wilder.

Wilder's choices: a) Go to UK for Fury, b) Go to UK for Joshua, c) Fight his WBC Mandatory! He better push for a) or he loses all credibility!
