    Comments Thread For: Jermain Taylor Arrested, Again, Non-Payment of Child Support

    Former middleweight champion and Olympic silver medal winner Jermain Taylor was arrested for the second time in November. The Arkansas Gazette reports that Taylor was booked into the Pulaski County jail on Wednesday, after being arrested on a charge of non-payment of child support. Taylor will be held until he pays $5,300 to the court registry.

    Leave this poor guy alone. He has given himself permanent injury through boxing, he needs some form of care never mind locking up for missing child payments, he is prob broke with no means of earning money as he is brain damaged. What a total sin

        if he cant pay he cant pay. Cnat believe you can go to jail for not being able to afford shit. Smae thing they did to Tarver I remeber seeing a video where the piece of **** judge even took his only CAR away from tarver cause he couldnt afford the 10K a month child support, no child needs 10K a monthf or child support.

          Its his own fault for squandering the millions he's made. He made more for the Hopkins rematch than i have made my whole life. My brother did a year in jail for much back due child support. You can't event get a license to drive if you owe over a certain amount.

                    My friend was late with court fines, he didn't get locked up.


                    You go to jail for not paying child support? What if you can't pay?
