Comments Thread For: Berchelt: Lomachenko Lost To One Mexican, I Want To Be Second!

According to Miguel Berchelt, he will defend the super featherweight title of the World Boxing Council on a date in March. One of the possibilities for that defense is a rematch with Francisco Vargas, who Berchelt stopped to capture the WBC belt in January 2017.

Well, he's not saying he'll fight him just yet. This said, it would be a great fight.

Realistically, there is no way he can win. Expect odds of 15/1 or something.

Still, he is a respectable enough fighter for Loma to go in against. I suppose Loma could drop back to 130 easily enough to make the fight if he was interested. Cleaning out both 130 and 135 would be a nice accomplishment.

No mention Of Gervonta Davis, To Me Berchelt vs Davis is THEE FIGHT AT 130, Now that Loma is no longer at 130.

Francisco Vargas or Machado are not at Gervont Davis's level nor would they make the money Davis would for Berchelt.

So Berchelt Vs Davis makes the most sense and it is THEE biggest fight at 130.

Me too. Actually I want to see that fight first.

I have a feeling Loma-Berchelt is gonna be like Loma-Walters except the Mexican won't quit on his stool.
