Joshua also revealed that he has taken on scientific advice from experts in order to ensure that he makes the most out of his peak years in the sport before retiring with his legacy and brain cells intact. “I could go in there and knock out Povetkin in a round or two, but then there is the eight weeks of intense sparring, doing 200 rounds, you have to protect your body,” he said.

Who's have thought Pac would last so long. He started in such a low weight and he's had more fights than anyone.
He's been koed. He's not someone you'd have picked to have lonevity

Pac's a different breed. With his style he would be the last you would think would still be doing it at his age. Plus he has never had a serious injury. The shoulder injury was pronably his worst.

Its impressive how durable Pac is

If Joshua wants to look at a great example of a fighter with supreme longevity, he needs to check out the career and style of Bernard Hopkins.

His style shouldnt allow him to still be competing at this stage. Pac was an all energize type fighter, that's his bread and butter. Its crazy to think that he's still going after all these years. This is why i laugh when posters hold these new unproven fighters so highly. There's only a few that can reach this level, Floyd, Manny, etc.

Amen to that, except that Bernard's longevity is attributable to his Martian genes.
