The fans want to see a unified heavyweight champion. That's why they are asking for the Wilder fight.

If Joshua really doesn't care about the money...and if he really wants to give back to the sport...then he should unify the belts.

    It's as simple as that.

You know sometimes people say something and it doesn’t quite come out how was intended. The guy has proven time and time again he does care about his fans.
Oh... it came out wrong. He really meant to say I'm chomping at the bit and can't wait to unify and show I'm the best in the world, but it just came out wrong when he said
      you train and fight Wilder...
I guess it came wrong when he said
give me $50M and I'll sign tomorrow
      too

It’s all very well for fans to crowd in a circle calling ‘fight,
fight, fight’ but this is their work, their living, so they do business deals. Business deals need contracts, both want more, sometimes it takes time to get right.

Nobody ducked anyone this time, it’s obvious they both wanted at least one more build fight. Don’t let them puppet you.
We actually do control what happens. If fighters, like Joshua, don't do what the fans want them to, the fans will find another fighter to support. That means Joshua's stock will go down and when he sees his checks losing a couple 0's at the end, you can bet your life he will fight whoever the fans want.

That goes both ways, however. If fans, like yourself, defend a fighter who so blatantly ducked the biggest fight there is to be made, then Joshua and co. will question why take risks when you can take safe fights and the fans will still flock to your side.

At the end of the day, this is a business. A business of entertainment and the most entertaining fights are the most competitive. No one fighter can carry the sport alone. It is our jobs, as the customers of this business known as boxing, to set aside any personal attachment to any one fighter and DEMAND the best fight the best NOT defend fighters refusing to take risks.

And yes, Joshua absolutely ducked Wilder. It's not up for debate.

After all the man is a multi-millionaire you know. That is why I admire and respect Deontay Wilder so because he is humbled, down to earth and real. He fights for the fans and try to give them the fights that they want to see with a crowd pleasing and fan friendly style to go with it. He even went so far as to apologize for the fight falling through which was a sign that he cared about his fans. Moreover, he's not fake and phony like that punk ass cowardly Anthony Joshua; Who just admitted that he is afraid of fighting Deontay Wilder. That shit he just spewed is turn off to me as a boxing fan.
This guy has turned into such a turn off.....his ego is kept inflated by his blind loyal fans, no one over there calls out his foolishness, they act as though all he needs to do is "fight" and win - just as long as they get the opportunity to "see him" walk across the ring and flatten whoever it is in front of him. They can say whatever they want about "birdlegs" Wilder, theyre saying it because they know he wants more than anything to topple their king....with their king only interested in "what Eddie has to say."

He probably contributed more to society when he was a drug dealer. At the moment all he is doing is holding belts that Eddie bought him hostage.

Well you must be a very frustrated fan then, Mayweather made us wait 5yrs!!

I’m not defending anyone, i’m just applying another logical reasoning to events, just because lots of Wilder fans say it, doesn’t make it so. So he said ‘you go and fight Wilder’, well, go on then. Until then just wait.

Aj’s stock is definitely not dropping. He’s got 25% more followers on Instagram than Manny Pacquiao, but let’s ignore the facts and just keep waving the flag for Wilder.

Now here’s an idea, how about Wilder goes and gets another 5m followers on Insta and 500k on Twitter and then he might actually have some negotiation power. It must be easy to do it, a fraud and coward like AJ can do it.

Lol...it’s also fun to watch Wilder fans hang off every single word of a man they supposedly hated, which group are obsessed? don’t think it’s the AJ fans.
