    Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs), 27 years old, is planning to retire from the sport by age 35. This coming October, Canelo will celebrate 13 years in the sport of boxing. On September 15th, Canelo will challenge undefeated WBA, WBC, IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. They fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in September 2017.

    I don't blame him. By the time he's 35 he'll have been fighting professionally for about 20 years.

      He may retire before then because he's going to have a hard time making it out of this stacked mw division without taking some real ass whoppings.
