Comments Thread For: Fury: I Told Hearn I'd Fight Joshua in Comeback - He Said 'No'

Former heavyweight world Champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) returns to the ring against Sefer Seferi (23-1, 21 early) at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night yet the 29-year-old has claimed that he could have been taking on domestic rival and WBA Super World, IBF World, WBO and IBO holder Anthony Joshua only for promoter Eddie Hearn to pour cold water on the idea of an immediate fight against the man who claimedthe majority of the heavyweight titles during Fury's time out of the ring.

Que the *****'s & Wilder bum lickers that say AJ is ducking Fury. The reality is AJ could have probably accepted this fight but he would be given no credit if they fought now and he won.

Fury has to prove that he is not damaged goods anymore; it also helps if he gets a few solid wins under his belt in order to make it an even bigger fight.

I hope Sefari comes to win and not just here for a payday. I reckon Fury will toy with him for a few rounds and then ko him in round 5.

I’m not AJ’S biggest fan at all, but I’m a big Fury fan, and if this is correct I actually agree with Hearn. It’s too early..

Let Tyson get his comeback fight out the way Saturday night and maybe another 2 fights after that (this winter and early next year) then next summer have the fight.. It makes sense.

Yeah right, that’s why he’s fighting a guy not even fit to be AJ’s sparring partner.

He's a good boxer, but that would've been a horrible idea for any fighter coming back from what he's just went through.

Warren will milk it for all its worth. So the man would claims he wanted to fight Joshua is now looking for Charr. Are there no people with pulses somewhere? Put him in there with Ortiz. He has no dace partner.

Hearn is a good guy, he cares about fat Fury's life more than fat Fury cares himself
