I think this is a great line up. Nice mixture. Thinking this might bring back the magic of the first season. Can’t wait!

Picking three of the most well known, accomplished and respected people in Boxing is a bad line up haha!

Agreed although i prefered later seasons, none of the silly assault courses and games they had in Season 1.

EPIX should be a great channel for The Contender, very interested to see who the line-up of boxers will be and which Division they'll be doing.

They really should just do The Heavyweight Division for Ratings alone. Doesn't matter if they Winner never does anything, it would be great to see a bunch of Heavies with 10 fights or less battling it out.

Bro Nazeem is a cool ass trainer and I love his vision of boxing, dude has no bias.

Droppy on the other hand, always complaining with grandma Hunter about being discredited by medias and boxing politics, yet pampered again and offered again a nice job by those "biased medias".

Sure I can't deny that Ward knows his boxing, so still OK. Not the most charismatic host but still OK.

Roach has no beef near a boxing ring and should enter a retirement home.

I loved all 3 seasons. Even the low budget season 3 was interesting to watch. I also 100% agree with you on which division they should pick. Heavyweights in reduced rounds fights should be more action packed. Plus the division is so shallow that the winner could earn a title shot relatively quickly. It means there would be real importance winning the tournament. And there are plenty of name fighters who would probably jump at the opportunity. Its also a division that allows you to lean heavily on American fighters while mixing in credible international fighters.

Old guys who are or should be desperate for the opportunity: Derek Chisora, Chris Arreola, Fres Oquendo, Bermaine Stiverne, Amir Mansour, Eric Molina, Gerald Washington

Youngish guys who need a major opportunity to rescue the languishing careers: Travis Kaufman, Charles Martin, Artur Spitzka, David Price, Izuagbe Ugonoh

Loudmouth Kickboxer turned MMA artist turned boxer:
                    Tyrone Spong

That's a decent group and there would still be like 3 more available spots.
