Yet Joshua did something he had not done before and also something he would have to do at some stage. He went the distance.

Just re-watched this fight. To me it looked more like a sparring session between two good mates.
Parker didnt come to win he fought to not get knocked out.
AJ was absolutely fine with this style of fight he looked comfortable and at ease cause he knew Parker didnt have the killa instinct.
I think he will look alot different and twitchy if and when he steps into the ring with the bronze bomber.

Indeed this fight reminded me - in principle, not in facts - of Mike Tyson vs Tony Tucker.

Still, Tucker was a good fighter against an all-time great. Instead, Parker is an average fighter against someone who had no trouble in keeping him in his place without too much of an effort.

Overall, the jury is still out on AJ. But at this level of competition - unless Wilder defeats him - he can rule as long as he wants.
