Cotto wasn't knocking out Judah, Gomez, Mosely, Margarito, Clottey, heck he didn't even knock out Paulie at 140.

I just don't really get how "he was able to take Cotto's punches" as evidence he was on roids (unless it has been proven that roids give you and iron body/chin-if so I'd love to see it)

don't get me wrong, i think there's more reason to believe that floyd was on PEDS. he was busted taking an illegal IV in a manner that's well known to be used to mask / flush out PEDS.

it wasn't long ago, and i'm only talking about a matter of a few decades, where 30 year old fighters were considered over the hill. now they're fighting until they're 40. matchmaking can be credited somewhat for the longevity, but the PEDS are what keeps these guys at the top for that few extra years after 33 or so.

I'm a big Pac fan, but I'll give my honest assessment.

There is absolutely NO "smoking gun," nor objective evidence such as the finding of Pac's name attached to steroid companies/mailing lists, failed drug tests (never even one), etc.

Here is a basic, brief list of the circumstantial evidence: 1.) His blowing through weight classes; 2.) His ability to take punches, and remain a relatively hard puncher at higher weights (although it should be noted he hasn't had a KO since Hatton). Still, people point to this; 3.) Some argue his association with Ariza, although Ariza hasn't been implemented in steroid rings like Memo (who snitched - at least the one dude kept his mouth shut and did his time like a man); 4.) the testimony of a shady/sketchy "former sparring partner"??? (I think) that he saw Pac getting stabbed with steroid needles in his arse. Something along these lines - somebody who claimed to be associated with Pac's training camps; 5.) the whole fiasco of blood testing as a requirement for the Mayweather bout.

IMO, when looking at the totality of circumstances, there isn't reason to believe Pac used PEDS anymore than any other top boxer/athlete. I think that ANY top athlete should have a general amount of su****ion.

In conclusion, there is no more, nor less, reason to believe Pac used roids than Mayweather.

Mate you've obviously made this thread and are subtly quite defensive about everything which points towards possible PED use. The size of his head change is clear as day, Stevie Wonder could see it. Now I am not sure what the reason is, but it is an unusual transformation, and I don't recall seeing that ever before on anyone else.

I have made some observations which I can linearly point to from experiences of other PED users. You can explain away certain cases, and you say Cotto could have finished his fight, and Clottey and Margarito weren't stopped, neither was Shane, but that doesn't tell the whole story does it? Cotto got beat from pillar to post, was he drained? Possibly, but he weighed 146 the fight before and 145 for Pac, make of that what you will. He was hurt so many times, floored twice and never in the fight. Could it be he caught Pac on his best night? Yes its possible.

Clottey - a guy who showed a pretty much granite chin all the way through his career, for some reason is too scared to open up. He has been in with Judah, Margarito, Cotto, Corrales, all big punchers, but is scared to open up against a fighter who went 12 rounds with Morales, Marquez, Barrera, and Oscar Larios.

Margarito - yeah again a 12 round fight but he put Margarito on ***** street and hurt him to the body, but Cotto one of the best body punchers of his generation couldn't? Not to mention all the big punchers Margarito faced but couldn't dent him. You could say that Margarito was over the hill and Mosley broke him, you COULD say that.

Shane Mosley - a guy that took Oscar's best shots, took Cotto's best shots, took Canelo's best shots, his chin was world class, Pacquiao hit him with a punch that didn't even land properly and it put him down and put him in survival mode for the entire fight, not to mention that he wobbled him a couple of other times with grazing punches.

Yes also add that he threw 1200 punches against clottey, and threw over a 1000 against Margarito, again you can explain that away as stationary targets, but when you look at all of this together, its strange! If you want to go further I can say that observing him during those fights, he was not even breathing heavy, he was not struggling and their was no pain on his face whatsoever, no struggle even in the 12th round.

For a long time, I was totally in Pac's corner when it came to this, so I am not coming from a place of ignorance, I believed strongly in Pacquiao's innocence, but I am not a stubborn person, and when people present me with a different opinion or information I try to look at it, objectively.

As it stands today - I am not 100% sure Pac cheated, but I would say I am over 90% sure. You can add to the above, the reluctance to take OST, the excuses of why, and the obvious physical anomalies.

-required a CUTOFF date to suspend OSDT (E X T R E M E L Y SU****IOUS) (he agreed to cut off day and Floyd continues to push it back)
-denied OSDT during 3rd JMM fight (again he's going with the actual rules of boxing)
-did all of this while moving up weight classes and increasing power while increasing stamina - nearly impossible...at the Puberty age of 29 years (he was 144 pounds when he fought at 130, he always had his speed/power, and yet that speed/power still wasn't enough to knock out welterweights.
