If it was the Hollywood version of this Brooklyn story, Ali would have taken gold for the United States in the 2008 Olympics, got a big money intro to the pro game and then sailed to a world title and the big fight at "The Mecca" as the A-side defending his crown for all the world to see...

    Good fighter and seems like a cool dude. People dog him out for the Vargas loss but if Vargas lands that right hand clean you know what happens, ask TB. Ali took three of those and was still on his feet...has a chance to confuse Cotto.

      Yes its sad he gets all this flack for losing to Vargas, but that right hand he has been landing lately has been massive. He rocked Timmy badly and he was on his bicycle for that remainder. I think Ali took much more right hands, if only he had a better defense like Timmy he would have survived that fight.
