Chayaphon Moonsri bids to equal Rocky Marciano's record on Friday night.

Thailand's , 48-0 (17 KO), defends his WBC Minimumweight title against Japan's Tatsuya ***uhara, 19-5-6 (7 KO), on Friday 24th.

A win puts him on par with 's 49-0 (43 KO), and one behind 's 50-0 (27 KO). Floyd himself will no doubt be having sleepless nights over this.

At Moonsri's rate of fighting he should have set a new record by summer 2018.

Yeah, looks like he's gonna be goat by June. Funny he will acquire tons of haters soon. Good luck to him in achieving the "record".

Floyd doesn't deserve 50, in my book Mcgreggor doesn't count, but who am I? I think Castillo beat Floyd in their first meeting.

Zaroku, is it really necessary to antagonize the Fl#mos? The purpose of this thread is to sing the praises of the future record holder Moonsri.

Agreed. Moonsri don't mess around with gimmicks like fighting MMA fighters or rely on gift wrapped decisions in his home country. Doesn't manipulate drug testing too.

          A credit to the sport.

Minimumweight is a weird place, with only 260 odd registered fighters on BoxRec. Moonsri has wins over many of the current top 20. At the time of contests several of them were rated in the top 10.

Hopefully he breaks Floyd's bogus 50-0 record and retires undefeated at 55-0 or something, much to dismay of the Floydiots who are still celebrating Floyd's "record" victory against a 0-0 bum from a different sport

Menayothin is a legit fighter. I hope he breaks the record with a 6 rounder in Thailand that win will still be more legit than beating Conor. Saying that we all know 0's don't mean ****, the real TBE/GOAT had 19 losses.

                    Good on him.

The real question to be answered is, I dare anyone to name one fighter this guy's beat WITHOUT having a look at BoxRec, searching his name or going to Wikipedia.

Makes me wonder why more don't just do this. Beat 51 cans in a row, 3 per year, or just keep rematching Kristian Laight.
