Comments Thread For: Wilder: Hearn, Joshua Stalling; Know It's Over Once We Fight!

Deontay Wilder knows why fellow heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, are putting off their showdown. According to Wilder, he can hear it in their voices when they discuss potentially fighting him sometime in 2018. "I'm a very dangerous fighter," Wilder told krikya360.com. "And they know that if he comes at me, a very dangerous fighter, I can mess up their whole operation. I can bring it all to the ground and that's why they're stalling. That's why they're stalling with all this, Fight Dillian Whyte' and all that. That's not gonna do nothing, because once we get in the ring, it's over and they know it."

Even if Wilder flatlines AJ, they're a hell of a lot of money to be made in a rematch stateside. Hearn can sell it on that 'Repeat or Redemption' type of s***. I don't think this is the kind of fight that should happen once.

      Not even that.

Joshua even in a tune-up would sell out the 02 and likely still be on PPV.

Who would a tune-up even be? Someone like Del Boy? Even that would probably sell out a stadium, lol.

He would have to go on a David Price-esque run of getting KTFO until fans would stop turning up.

No, they're stalling because they want a heavyweight unification fight to make real heavyweight unification money. Wilder needs UK profile.

“It’s not about money. It’s not about that.”

Is that why you want a ridiculous 7 mil for Whyte???

“if it don’t happen, it just don’t. It’ll be a shame for the fans. I’m not the one that’s sitting around. If the fight never happens, I’m good. I just don’t want people to say I never called him out or never tried [to make the fight]. It’ll be more on him than me.

You have an opportunity to fight Whyte which Hearn said will guarantee a shot at AJ.. so you aren’t doing everything possible to fight AJ. It’s not like they are giving you a low ball offer, they are giving you 4mil for Whyte!! That’s a career highest and it will give you a 10% more split in the AJ fight!! You say “I’m a very dangerous fighter,” well why duck Whyte?.

That's what you get for showing zero interest in Klitschko.
AJ dismantles the Ukrainian, and now you want to join the big boys club.
There's no one else to blame but yourself.
You're worse than Adonis Stevenson because you're younger.

Why is every post of yours blatant lies ?

I think Joshua / Wilder will happen
But It's clear Hearn doesn't want the fight any time soon . I was listening to the boxing voice podcast with Hearn last night and he said he wants it to be a 100 million dollar fight before he signs off on it. That fight will most likely never be a 100 million dollar fight

Wilder is the second biggest name in the division and maybe with the exception of Fury it's Joshua's biggest financial fight.

Deontay Wilder needs to relax. He has plenty of time to cash out. The fight is going to happen, it's a true money fight and needs to be built right. Done right this can sell out a 90,000 seat stadium in the UK and go live at US primetime. Wilder's haste makes me think he has plans to retire sooner than later. Meanwhile AJ is talking about a long-term legacy and fully unifying all titles.

serious question, as a fan why do you care about a fight building and how many tickets they sale? if Joshua wants to unify titles, hell he has a champ begging to fight him now
