Where does Wilder generate his power from?

He's got skinny chicken legs, so where does he generate his so called power from?

Some guys just have leverage. Lou Cipher is also a devastating puncher. Lou Cipher was also a terrorizer from the pitchers mound as a kid. It's probably the same leverage.

Most of his power is coming from momentum. Either the other guy is walking into the punch at the wrong time, or Wilder's coming forward with a punch at the right time.

Against Price, I believe that was an overhand right, all of the power in that shot came from pivot and coil. Like Chris Eubank Sr. would often do. It's all about momentum with that shot.

Other knockouts has been more about accumulation of punches, like Harrison where he was just swarmed to death.

Some were iffy like Malik Scott, which I still say was a dive from a good friend.

Wilder has a strong core and very strong back muscles, so any time he's able to load up a shot, it's all power. If you have strong legs, like Manny, you can plant and throw with power without having to full pivot.

A good inside fighter that can keep Wilder close will beat him easily, because Wilder sucks on the inside, and a better range fighter beats him easily, because Wilder leaves his head wide open after missing (as Teddy Atlas so kindly showed us) and Wilder tends to have balance issues.
