Eubanks Jnr too easy to hit and lacks the power to hurt a big super middleweight, factor in that Groves is a big puncher i can only see this going one way a brutal onedsided battering and Groves stopping him in 8. Groves is a better boxer than BJS and even he boxed Eubanks Jnrs ears off for the first 8 rounds if he had real power Eubanks would have been in huge trouble. I cant see how getting outclassed by BJS and then going on a bum of the month campaign for 3 whole years suddenly makes him a favourite over a seasoned proven top level fighter, he has looked good against no hopers but the jump up to Groves is massive and he still makes all the same novice mistakes he always did at the top end it will be exposed again.

Not saying it is a nailed on result - as either could win. But, I would go for Eubank via TKO/KO late.... Groves is weak, he breaks down and finds it hard to maintain any sort of pace over the course of 12 rounds, he doesn't have that toughness and grit required to go at it with tough, durable fighters that can take his shots and keep coming.

Whereas Eubank is the IBO Champ and lost to BJS.
And they are pretty much the same age.

It's a 50/50 fight. Groves more proven and battle tested, but seems to come just short. Eubank has to prove he's at that level. It's a great match-up.

I think George can outbox Eubank Jr and probably nail him with counters.
That said Eubank Jr said he has lit up Groves when they have sparred and they have sparred a lot. I know he seems a bit of an oddball but I don't have Eubank Jr as a liar. I'm inclined to believe him.
I've picked George because I'm a fan basically. I wouldn't be surprised if Eubank Jr got him late.

if George can box smart, he can get the decision. but it'll be hard to avoid a brawl-type fight, which is where Jr has got the advantage of speed and reflexes
