you kiddin me bro, your comparing a 27 yr old, 4yr pro with a 20-0 record with a 20yr old 1 yr pro??

of course Sechew is better at this point, he is ranked #1 on BoxRec and i think he is well past the "prospect" stage, he is more like a contender now who will be getting a title shot real soon.

Go on boxrec and find another 20 yr old Jr. Middle in the Top 50, Well, you wont cuz Vanes is the only one.

Is Vanes normally that much larger than his oponet at weigh in? He looks alot taller and thick, more muscle.

lol, he looks like a junior middle ( which he is ) against a junior welter 140lb guy.

          1. Boxrec is a computer rankings , they mean ****

          2. if u read my post earlier then you'll see i say until they beat a ex champ or experienced veteran then they havent proved much sechew fills in that category so i still consider him a prospect

Oscar Gonzalez fights at Welterwieght (147) and Super Welterweight (154). He had his pro debut in 1995 at 140 but came back at 147. In the pic I have shown he weighed 2 pounds less than Vanes at 152. Vanes looks like hes the much larger man.

i know boxrec doesnt mean much, but it does help put things in perspective and its not all that much of a BS system as people make it to be. Obviously its computer generated but you can still get some idea of who stands where.

one of the Petersons shows alot more promise than the other.

Escobedo is real good too, just had that ealry let down loss, but im sure he learned quite a bit, now trains with Roach at WildCard.
