Con Sheehan has been ruled out of his next fight. The Irish heavyweight, who is undefeated in six outings as a professional with one early, had been set to attempt to advance his ledger later this month. But Clonmel's Sheehan will not box on September 23 at the Manchester Arena after suffering an injury.

This fight card is very lackluster. The undercard is a complete shambles. Why couldn't team Parker bring over some of their prospects from NZ to gain some northern Hemesthir experience? The Commonwealth title is still more relevant than a WBO intercontinental bauble, so why don't more ANZAC's, African, Carabian & Canadian's go for it??!....

Have to agree with you there Higgs. Putting on fighters still only used to club fights and 4-6 rounders is poor planning indeed.
There's a wealth of worthy talent in the Pacific islands and the next David Tua is sure to emerge before long.

As for Parker, I respect his busy-ness, and coming to fight an undefeated challenger in his own backyard takes guts.

A lot of people put crap on Parker for not being a KO artist, but he's a small HW compared to the other two. However, I feel a KO over Fury will put him right back in the mix and give him some much needed and earned respect.
