It reminds me of the movie Diggstown with James Woods & Louis Gossett Jr.

Gabriel Caine: He's bigger than you are. He's tougher. He's faster. He's younger than you are. He hasn't fought 22 rounds today, but remember this...you're BLACK!

Honey Roy Palmer: What the hell is that supposed to mean?

    Gabriel Caine: I don't know. I mean it's... I'm trying to inspire you. It's a Roots kinda thing. It's a motivation thing.

Honey Roy Palmer: Well, you're shit at motivation.

Kind of like the video that was posted earlier today showing Floyd practically needing a wheelchair to get from the gym to his vehicle.
Both are factors. Mayweather's vast experience compared to McGregor's is a factor and McGregor's physical attributes are also a factor. Plus, there have been boxing writers who said they personally saw Floyd sparring and said that he looked every bit of 40 years old. They said he had trouble pulling the trigger and his only moves were the straight right hand followed by an immediate clinch.

I favor Floyd to win but we have to remember he is facing two opponents here: McGregor and Father Time, one of those opponents is undefeated so we must take that into account.

I didn't hear anything about boxing writers personally seeing Floyd sparring and looking every bit of 40 years old. That Is Interesting. I would think that Floyd's experience should pull him through this fight. I guess we will see.

Whatever group of journalists he said this to should have laughed in his face after this comment. Like a stripper trying to get into your wallet, he'll say anything.

What the hell. This is a boxing forum. Floyd is trying to sell the fight and getting critisized for it. McGregor lies about sparring and posts phony pictures, videos on two seperate occasions and people defend him.

He did that for real? He is really trying too hard to sell this one.

This is the way EVERYONE is promoting these one sided fights these days. Oscar has said this sorta sh^t for about the last 4 or so guys Canelo has fought.

It'd be nice if people just put competitive fights on all the time. Although this is a circus fight between a retired boxer & a MMA guy so this is a whole other thing thats not even for boxing fans. This is for cats who never watch boxing or MMA.

McG should go down like Sonny Hawkins, the guy who came in with the Rose and blew the cigar smoke.

Lol i can't believe people like yourself are going in depth on this fight as a potential competitive fight. It's really not even worth analysing it at all from a boxing point of view.

Within the first couple of minutes of the fight, it's going to dawn on you big time that this one of the most uncompetitive mismatches you will ever see, maybe the worst. In reality, this had no business being sanctioned as a boxing match.

I'm not against it, i see it as two guys making money and good luck to them and i'll watch it, but i don't bother even wasting my time thinking about it as an actual fight.
