Salido is a great warrior but he's reaching the end of his career and I believe he's just cashing out now. Still, he's a guy who will do his best to win and will go out on his shield if he loses the fight.

Will definitely be an exciting match. Hoping they put Usyk and Gvozdyk on the undercards again!

Loma will make easy work of Salido this time around, Salido will give a heck of a fight as usual.

128 is what I had in my mind, but I'd like to see whoever wins get full credit, so for that, 127 would be better. Loma can't make 126 anymore IMO, you saw he was gassing at 126 against Salido and that was years ago. He didn't really gas in other fights, but you can tell his punches are sharper and more powerful at 130, similar to how Brook's punches looked so much smoother once he didn't have to cut to 147 anymore when he fought GGG.

128 is not really fair to Rigo, at least at his current size, but then again like Lomachenko says, Rigondeaux has been at 122 since he was a teenager. Why is he the only fighter in the world who can't be expected to bulk up a bit? But yeah 128 is I think where it should happen. Rigo is a defensive guy anyway, and he has the reach advantage which is often more important than weight anyway, so he shouldn't be getting hit very much, and therefore the weight shouldn't matter as much. If Lomachenko can land a lot then it will matter, but if Rigo lets Lomachenko land a lot, then that's a credit to Lomachenko because Rigo's whole schtick is that he can avoid getting hit, so...

Again, ideally they would be the exact same size, but they aren't so this is what it is. To use ***** logic, Lomachenko is also the A-side, so... but nah I don't care about that so much as the fact that Lomachenko simply cannot make 126 healthily. He has looked so much better at 130, so it is what it is. Rigo can bulk up a little, Loma can sacrifice a little to make 128, and they can both come in healthy and undrained, may the best man win. Hope we see it next.

128 does seem like a fair weight for both, although ideally, I would prefer that the smaller guy move up. Makes things easier. Talk about a boxing purists dream matchup though! I need to think about who I would favor at this point. Peace.

euro eastern fighters aren't really used to fighting inside that's why loma lost that fight, inside fighting isn't really allowed or counted there... that was a terrible fight to put him in for his second bout.

Ok boxing nerds, here’s some stats for you! With Vasyl Lomachenko’s dominant performance over Nicholas Walters this past weekend, he now becomes #1 on CompuBox’s Plus/Minus list with a connect percentage differential of +20.9 — marking the highest rating since Floyd Mayweather (+24.5).

The Plus/Minus differential takes into account a boxers percentage of punches landed minus the percentage of punches landed on them. As of right now, the top 10 fighters in the Plus/Minus category are as follows:

                    Vasyl Lomachenko (+20.9)

                    Gennady Golovkin (+15.1)
                    Andre Ward (+15.1)
                    Erislandy Lara (+14.4)
                    Naoya Inoue (+14)
                    Terence Crawford (+12.1)
                    Lamont Peterson (+11.7)
                    Juan Francisco Estrada (+11.6)
                    Roman Gonzalez (+11.6)
                    Adrien Broner (+11)

Taking a look strictly at the defensive aspect, Lomachenko also rates #1 on opponents total connect percentage against, putting him even above the defensive wizard in Guillermo Rigondeaux. The top 10 in the category goes like this:

                    Vasyl Lomachenko (16.1%)

                    Guillermo Rigondeaux (16.8%)
                    Erislandy Lara (19.1%)
                    Terence Crawford (20.9%)
                    Juan Francisco Estrada (21.3%)
                    Arthur Abraham (21.5%)
                    Naoya Inoue (21.9%)
                    Andre Ward (22%)
                    Wladimir Klitschko (22.3%)
                    Carlos Cuadras (22.4%)

“Salido is older, a little more tired, Lomachenko is a little better so it makes for an intriguing fight,” Gibbons continued.*

                      It's a set up!

If Floyd did this haters would talk smack.

If lil g did this his fans would be okay with it.
