Comments Thread For: Photos: Stevenson vs. Fonfara, Alvarez vs. Pascal - Official Weights

Adonis Stevenson and Andrzej Fonfara both made weight without any difficulty Friday for their light heavyweight championship rematch Saturday night. The 39-year-old Stevenson (28-1, 23 KOs), who'll defend his WBC 175-pound championship, weighed in at 173.6 pounds late Friday afternoon at Casino de Montreal. The 29-year-old Fonfara (29-4, 17 KOs, 1 NC) was slightly heavier than Stevenson (174.2 pounds).

He's with Virgil Hunter now. Switched to him after the Smith loss.

******man has this... no way Fonfara can hang in there for 12 with him. And I just don't see how Pascal can beat Alvarez the better boxer. But both fights will be interesting.

Lol you would think but given Stevenson's history... I wouldn't be so convinced.

Really looking forward to this card, I think it will be very entertaining (I've been wrong many times before and am one of those idiots that paid $70 for the Canelo/Chavez fight). That being said, something tells me that there will be some compelling moments in both these fights. I will be pulling for upsets in both fights. My prediction is Stevenson by mid rounds kayo in a barn burner and Pascal by close, disputed decision.
