Comments Thread For: Walsh 'Baffled' By Being a 3-1 Underdog Against Gervonta Davis

Boxers tend to plead ignorance regarding odds on their fights, but Liam Walsh wasn't about to do that. The unbeaten British contender knows exactly how handicappers have given him little chance of defeating Gervonta Davis on Saturday night in London. The 30-year-old Walsh (21-0, 14 KOs) is a 3-1 underdog, according to most Internet sports books, in their 12-round fight for the undefeated Davis' IBF super featherweight title.

Walsh should just flat out beat Gervonta outright then & WIN

Why worry about who is favored to win a fight? Just go out and beat the opponent up badly and win the fight. If Walsh wants to make a career statement then win the fricking fight and stop crying about who is favored. DUH?

Odds don't matter in the ring. What time does the fight start?

Wonder what the odds would be if Davis fought Loma? I'm sure Floydtards would think Davis 3-1 would be a good bet in that fight too.

Ain't beat nobody. Of course you're the dog dummy.

For any fault with Tank he made Pedraza look 3 levels below him. And sh^t man I bet on Pedraza & I think Pedraza probably beats Walsh now so of course Tank is favored here.

I'll be surprised if this is competitive for very long let alone the whole fight or an upset happens.

I'd guess Tank would be a +250 to +400 dog.

He's the legit favorite in this fight doe. Walsh seems like a good guy & a solid enough guy who's gonna beat far more guys then he loses to. But his ceiling is probably right where he's at now, top 20ish.

The odds are only an indicator of bets. Tank still has to catch Walsh and beat him into submission. Walsh survives, Walsh wins.

The odds are 3-1 because Floyd and his camp have all bet Davis also.

I wonder what the odds would be when Loma gets beat down by Garcia. Or what will the odds be when he rematches a old journeyman with 13losses who he lost 2 lol. I'm sure EuroTards would think Lomachenco 3-1 would be a good bet. After all everytime a European makes a little noise y'all swear everyone scared of them lmao I guess y'all just ain't used to having good fighters. Everyone is supposedly scared of ggg,McGregor and fury and according to boxingscene they can't be beaten.
