    I'd say he's right.

GGG is just metronomic if he hasn't felt a shot. Canelo is more similar to a Brook than Jacobs in terms of speed of foot albeit he is far bigger. I think GGG is going to be within striking distance at will if he hasn't felt anything. He will feel something though. Canelo can punch.

As highly as i rate Canelo as a top level fighter, i just think if GGG doesn't respect his power then it might end up looking like most GGG fights. Jacobs had both very good power and movement and is superior to Canelo in those 2 departments and probably the two things most needed to give GGG a hard fight. Canelo has his own excellent attributes but i don't think they are what's mostly required when fighting GGG.
Well said and the most objective post on this thread. Canelo better show Golovkin that he can hurt him. If he doesn't Golovkin will walk right through him. Business as usual.

Canelo will have Golovkin's respect in the very first round.

nobody at 160 is gonna walk through Canelo

Canelo is sharp, and will be more confident than Jacobs

I expect Golovkin to become hesitant when he realizes how sharp/skilled Canelo is, even more hesitant than he was with Jacobs

Jacobs is now over-rated..... he is an excellent fighter, sure..... but he only recently achieved his ATG status in order to make Golovkin look better

Golovkin will need to put together a much better performance to beat Canelo imho..... Canelo will CLEARLY win rounds with better/sharper punching and better defense
