You're lying to yourself if you think he wouldn't beat those pretenders, hell Jacobs would beat all of them easy.

he is a very good fighter, could be great if he actually takes risks

jacobs deserves a rematch and you same whining crybabies who whined about ward and kov should be upset your hero will swerve his onlu competitive oppponent

come on man....he aint slipping, he was just slightly overrated by some, and crazy overrated by hbo n casuals
And you assess all of that from one fight?? He wiped out everyone who got in the ring with him, and fucked up Jacobs too. He didn't get the KO, but he still won. LOL at those talking shit because he didn't demolish him. Is he Superman? Nobody can beat everybody by KO & never have a competitive fight.

I was like, WTF? The guy is using lateral movement, he isn't going to walk into shyt.

I've said several times, I think Golovkin would have finished Danny if it weren't for Sanchez.

Also, pertaining to an earlier post, Boxnation; "Are we looking at a new champion?" "If he says on his feet I think he's won the title, I really do."
As I said, there were a variety of opinions but it was close, and it's over now, let's move forward.

He's been slipping for a while now...I know it doesn't fit with your narrative tho. Name some other fighters who are at their peak at 35 yrs old. When he finally loses, you'll be saying he was in his prime even if he's 40.

many fighters fought at a high level at 35 bro..do your own research

considering the level of opposition he has faced, no wars, so many knockouts, his 35 aint the same as orlando salido's 35

              use your brain man

Hopkins was a better fighter at 35 than 27, well preserved and fought crap competition too until moving up to 175

all fighters age different and have different levels of wear and tear

when did you notice his "decline"

vs dominic " house arrest" wade

                or Martin "never was" murray

i agree that sanchaz should never be training anyone. but i don't agree without sanchez golovkin would have ko'd jacobs? the problem with golovkin is that his speed (both feet and hands) are way slower then jacobs. also golovkin isn't this monster that everyone thought, when he gets hit it totally stops his offense. he can dish it out but can't take it kinda guy.

those problems will remain with golovkin with or without sanchaz.

Honestly bro, you need to try to be more objective. Brook and Jacobs are champions. They're supposed to be able to give Golovkin or anyone else in the division a hard time. Gennady won both fights though, unanimously, not by split decision. Where are these so-called elite? And please don't try to make a case for LHW Ward, who never really wanted Golovkin. If he's overrated, it's not just by fans and the media. Other fighters avoid him like the plague, because they know he's a bad mo fo and want none of it. Now that they've seen some vulnerability, maybe their balls can drop again & we'll see some calling out.

if thats the case, why were some fans and the media realistic about his level of opposition, instead of make excuses for the mismatches

you never know how great a fighter is until they fight top guys and he was being hyped to the heavens for knocking out domestic level guys bro

Brook is 2 divisions below him, come on bro

if you look at my posts even the OP in this one i always acknowledge his talent...he is avery good fighter...he just was never p4p top 3 in my eyes and his competition never warranted p4p placement...you earn it by beating the best in your divison or moving up

most of the hype was speculation based off knocking out overmatched opponents much like every other great puncher gets
