At what age would Canelo's win over Golovkin still be impressive?

Surely nobody would talk trash about Golovkin if he lost to Canelo while being 40 years old right? Right? So my question is, at what age would Canelo be expected to win without any worry? I started off 2 years ago predicting a stoppage victory for Golovkin but now I'm not so sure. I think if the fight is hosted in 2018 I can safely bet all my stripper money on Canelo.

35 is still decent credit, just because GGG still looks solid, although 99% of boxers are nowhere near prime at that point

      37+ is almost no credit

Hard to speculate because boxing age completely relates to how they're looking in other fights.
People are already going to discredit Canelo because of the Jacobs fight. So, no matter how good GG still is, they'll say he's past prime, unless GG were to go up and dominate 168 or something like that.

Personally, I predict that we've got another year and a half or so before we can say GG was definitely "past prime". However, Canelo should have taken this last year if he wanted full credit from the fans.

I'd say if he gets to mid 36 the decline will be too drastic.

              Should be happening now.

CaneloCucks will give credit to beating GGG even if he is 50 at the time they fight.

This fight needed to happen two years ago... I'm starting to lean towards canelo now and the longer it takes the less credit he gets

I think it's more them hating on Golovkin than necessarily liking Canelo. But it's what this sport brings along with it. Unabashed, unwavering tribalism.

Idk. Golovkin wasn't looking too fresh in the Jacobs fight but that might've been Jacobs that caused it. He was countering shots like a man possessed.
