On February 25th, rising heavyweight contender Izu Ugonoh (17-1) lost his perfect record when he was stopped by Dominic Breazeale (18-1) in five rounds. The exciting bout took place on the Deontay Wilder-Gerald Washington undercard that was broadcast by free-to-air network Fox.

Good. Get him back in the ring. He's an entertaining & destructive guy.

And f#ck I wouldn't hate seeing Izu vs Dominick II after he gets a few wins/more experience in another year or two. I could easily see him having a much much better & less dramatic night with more seasoning the 2nd time around.

Its not his shape, its his stamina that's an issue.. Work on it mate..
If he had some reserves left, Brazeale would have definitely gone down for good..

Get him in there soon. The Breazeale loss isn't the end of the world. It was great fight & he simply gassed. Maybe a few more fights with durable journeymen would help him. He could stand to go a few more rounds before another legit step up. No shame in losing to Breazeale who has shown to be a solid fringe contender.

I was lucky enough to be at the Ugonoh/Breazeale fight and it was an outstanding slugfest of epic proportions. The more we see of Ugonoh the better. He's got a lot of talent, but got thrown in the deep end too soon and couldn't withstand Breazeale after he survived the initial onslaught. Let him get a win against someone like Abell or Consuegra and then put him back on TV against one of the PBC HW's.
