Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman: It Was a Clear Win, I Outboxed Danny Garcia

Thurman won his 28th straight fight and handed Garcia his first loss in 34 bouts. After five furious rounds to open things at Barclays Center, the pace slowed - even bringing boos from the large crowd at times. But it ended with a flourish of exchanges in the 12th and final round. And with Thurman holding up two belts.

Absolutely, the fight was competitive but not close. 10-2/9-3 Thurman.

Now that Swift's taken an L to Keith, I can start supporting him

I thought Thurman won but close. I don't think he dominated the fight

I had an easy win for Keith, 8-4. That's being generous to Danny.

Good fight. Thought Keith won clearly, but the split decision bullshit and the close scores didn't surprise me. Thurman took a chance doing his best impression of DLH in the last two rounds. Real risky, and it almost cost him. Anyway, the right man won. And props to Danny for being an overachiever.
