Why are Americans making out Golovkin vs Jacobs is competetive?

Jacobs is #2 in the division. Saunders isnt better than him, not by a long shot.
This is the first fight where I see * a possibility* that GGG may lose. I think Jacobs may be more of a challenge than Canelo, if only bc Jacobs is so big. However, I do favor GGG. I dont see Jacobs as being able to take advantage of his size.
If you dont think this fight is competitive, you must think very highly of GGG. Who else in the division would make for a more competitve fight.?

Jacobs is a very good fighter, ATG? nope, 2nd best in the middleweight division yes. BJS won't beat jacobs, Jacob's has the better skill set, power, speed. Jacob's had two moments in his career where he looked vulnerable, the Pirog loss, and the Mora knockdown. Pirog happened over half a decade ago when Jacobs had cancer and a lost his Grandma, understandably he could have had a lapse in judgment and he did. With Mora he got overly aggressive after a knockdown and came back to finish the job.
people make it sounds like he is a walk in the park, I've been saying for years that at middleweight Jacobs is the toughest test for GGG, tougher then Canelo, BJS and Eubank.

I think it will be a fun fight to watch because both guys have good offense and pretty suspect defenses. That generally leads to two way action which generally is called competitive.
I think Golovkin has important advantages which will aid him in such a fight, he is certainly going to take a lump or two to get that victory though.
