IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale has fired back at some of the recent statements being made by Floyd Mayweather Jr. Last Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York - DeGale fought WBC champion Badou Jack to a twelve round majority draw. I've said this before and I will say this again... Floyd benefits heavily from not having a lost and having such a successful boxing career. He can make crazy statements and pull others in because of what he was able to accomplish in the ring. With that being said, he is also a promoter and uses controversy to hype fights. He did it when he was a fighter and was very successful. It doesn't surprise me that he is using the same tactic to promote his fighter. Although annoying, his reactions yield money and no one is giving their checks back because they don't agree with himm

Either way it was a great close fight. No one was robbed!! Both were warriors and deserve respect! DeGale also clearly wanted the rematch. He didnt pull a Ward and ducked the rematch cuz he knew it was a robbery

That fight was no damn robbery> It was a close fight and the judges awarded the more flashy fighter.
