Easy Money for mayweather and the easiest boxing match he would have for that amount.Maybe hes not that confident in his own abilities because McGregor is not even journyman level. McGregor himself should not be asking that much hes lucky to get any huge payday let alone 25 mill. I would fight either for 25 dollars.

No one's going to be betting on mayweather vs. Mcgregor when mayweather is a colossal favorite.

The fight should still do very good numbers. But maybe 2.5-3m and not 4m.
even 3 million ppv at $60 is $180 million.... Thats without all the international rights money from the countries they sell the fight to..... Sponsors..... Gate money...... We are talking between $200 and $250 million easy there....... Dana white just exposed himself as the snake that he is.... He thinks the fighters should get around 50 each and ufc keeps the rest hahahahahaah.... Thats exactly why floyd became his own promoter so he didnt have to pay snakes like dana or bob arum such a big chunk...... Dana knows the fight will never happen thats why he low balled today.... $25 million to floyd mayweather who just made $32 million to fight berto is a huge slap in the face...... Thats why floyd just an hour ago called dana a "fuging comedian" on tmz for that joke offer.....

That would be true is Mayweather needed this fight. He doesn't. He can stay retired, he could come back and rematch Manny, face any other Welterweight in the world - and he would make more than $25m on the upfront - and would likely have a much larger backend share than Dana and the UFC would agree to.

The simple truth is, this fight won't happen because nobody needs it to happen. Mayweather isn't going to compromise on money, and Dana and the UFC can't be seen playing second fiddle to a retired boxer. Neither side will give the other what they deserve, and both are walking into this fight proposition thinking they are doing a favor for the other side. The only person who stands to win from this is McGregor if he takes the $15m upfront Mayweather offered and gets a back end cut, because that is more than he can make in the UFC (I think he's at $3m purses with a cut of the backend profit) - plus if McGregor loses in a boxing fight, it's not going to hurt his reputation in the MMA world...and world in which he's already lost a number of times but maintains his popularity regardless. But since Dana White and the UFC own Conor's contract, they would never agree to let him go over to boxing, get clowned, and by extension make the entire sport of MMA look inferior as their biggest star (especially now that Rousey is likely finished) look like a neophyte in the realm of fighting.

But it's not like he CAN'T see another paycheck, that's the difference. The ball is in his court about his retirement. He was making $32m guaranteed v the likes of Berto. If he was to come back and fight a boxer that isn't even a big name for his 50th fight, he would still get paid around that again.

Floyd can pick up $25m+ as soon as he announces a comeback. So why would he accept the same or take less than he could make for a HUGE event like this would be?

See that's the difference, Floyd has options to make big money anyway if he really wanted, so if you're going to try to call the shots and make offers, you better make it worthwhile.

Lennox Lewis said 100m to come out of retirement. Best heavyweight in decades. Never considered anything more than crazy.

Yet half you gumps fool for Money Mayweathers propaganda at the same.

Comparing the unique opportunity of Pacman he milked just before everyone lost patience, is not a parallel.

Realistically this is 50-60 mill close to the 100 May himself quoted expecting it to totally high ball close the show and get no bite on.

As usual he's gotten a bite and without his old PED excuses, will find something new!

He might get 25 mil fighting another boxer or even more, but would this not be a easy 25 mil. Hes bascally gonna get 25 mil fighting a guy that hasnt fought in the ring before at a top level who has so idea what is to go 12 rounds. Conors taking more risk for less reward. If Floyd wants a 100mil, fight in the cage and to make it fair no wrestling or kicking but he has to wear mma gloves.
