Lol, Jr is a... a... Look, I. Know more than anybody that Jr sucks balls, and I am admittedly a massive fan of Jr, but Jr brings something that Saul's previous opponents in recent times haven't; genuine interest in the bout.

The Chavez is looking for a 30-35% split. If GBP just give it to them, they fight gets made, and they all get paid. If not, he'll end up fighting some guy named "Paul Harris" or "Dave Richards" or some other dude with a plumber-esque name, and the discontent towards Canelo with grow.

            Pretty much bro.

A last name is the difference between 200k and 1mil PPV buys.

chavez has NO LEVERAGE. He needs Canelo to make money, get on PPV. Not the other way around. Chavez last fight was in Mexico aired on Bein Sports Espanol channel. Got paid less then 1m for it because Haymon with money issues didn't want to pay for him to fight on PBC. And Showtime has cut down on their purses and refused to pay for it as well. Chavez brand and leverage for purse demands has dropped because of some bad showings including a horrible loss where he quit on his stool and saw mexicans start a riot throwing beers at him, multiple long layoffs, him fighting with promoters and refusing to fight or pulling out of fights because of weight yet this idiot thinks he can demand the same money like none of this took place. Golden Boy sent him a contract worth almost 3X his biggest payday in recent years and more then he can get fighting anyone else.

So take the money and cash out or shut up and fight someone else for a fraction of the money and pray you don't run into another Fonfara who retires you without a payday to show for it. Meanwhile Canelo is the cash cow with tons of options, can fight on PPV whenever he wants, can fill 50K seats whenever he wants and is only 26. Every fighter wants to win the lottery and fight him

then why is he fighting in mexico on TV channels that most americans don't even have for peanuts? And when is the last time Chavez was on PPV? He is the one crying on twitter begging his rival for a payday who has the promoter who embarrassed his daddy twice. Chavez should of NEVER signed with Haymon, that cost him a year holding out to get out his deal with Arum and a terrible fight with Fonfara. It's not Canelo's fault he made bad business decisions and hurt his brand so he's not worth more. Now you have to kiss the ring and beg your 2 biggest enemies for a payday LMAO

                  MAKE THE FIGHT! VIVA MEXICO!
Dont you worry, they agreed on terms before the contract was elaborated, haymon jist needs to give chavez his contract...

chavez jr did more ppv buys with martinez then canelo with khan, smith, angulo, lara. canelo needs a big name to have a big ppv. chavez is that big name. ggg he's too scared of, pac is not going up that much, and cotto.......he already fought and no one wants that sh-it. chavez jr is the only one left around 147-160.

Ggg needs to agree to terms in order to receive a contract, chavez agreed to getting 6 mill and then another six mill if the fight breaks 1 mill ppvs. Ggg wouldnt agree to a guaranteed 15 mill, even if the fight doesnt reach 1 mill ppvs which is a likely scenario..
