This is no surprise for me. I've been here long enough to know Arum's advanced footsteps like mentioning Lomachenko when Pacquiao's next opponent is asked. It's precisely to neutralize Crawford's anticipated demands. It's like, "You're not the only option."

Mayweather is referred to as the PPV king. Telll me again the highest amount his opponents got when they fought him. Maidana got $1 million in the first fight. I don't know how much Cotto got...

Broner deserves more. He gets big ratings and would sell the hell out of the fight. It's also a very winnable fight for Manny, easier than IMO than Crawford.

If by June he isnt fighting the winner of Garcia/Thurman or Spence or Kell Brook quality fighter then he needs to just Fking retire! Go out with a **** or throw in the towel now.
Crawford is the next fight. With the negotiation failing in and with Arum not wanting to match Crawford yet then we have no choice and go through with it hoping some extra exposure of crawford would bring in enough dough. But the fight would happen and it would be Manny's last fight.

          He's a draw and a Champion.

Floyd never scaled back his guarantee of $40 million even when he fought Berto-level opponents. Just imagine if he fought someone like Lara or Thurman.

No. F**k no. You know me, Dunn. I'm a huge Manny fan. But even I can say that no way, no how should dude be even thinking about commanding anywhere near the average purses he used to pull.

He's not the same Manny that he was. Obviously. In fact he's teetering on being a complete shell of himself. Hell if he's not already. And he obviously ain't the same draw that he was, either. He's not even in the same neighborhood of a draw that he once was. He used to be a bankable 800K to 1.2 mil type of PPV generator. Now he's pulling a fraction of that. 400K, 300K.

If Manny thinks that this current version of himself can still command anywhere near the type of purses that he did once upon a time, he's delusional.

and whos says anything about this being his last fight? at this point, you either support just because you're a fan, or you dont. pretty simple. no need to throw a fit.

IMO Thaxox suggestion of $15 mil/5 mil split was reasonable. Frankly, I think Crawford should just take $3 mil or so for the opportunity to beat Manny in Vegas.
