Don't see why anyone would think Ward is running around gloating about the win, being arrogant and boastful. Short of telling all the interviewers to f*** off he's going to give his opinion when asked, which is he believed he won. He admits it was a close fight etc. so I have no issues with his attitude. Not quite sure why he thinks that was the best KK has to offer. I think he may well HOPE that's the best he has but if you had seen the KK interview after the fight, he was clearly shocked by the decision and almost seems to blame himself for believing he was in control of the fight and working through the later rounds expecting to take the UD. He'll have learned from the outcome of that fight.

as long as reporters ask him questions and sites pick it up and post it, u will see him saying something, what do u want him to say, its all a mental game at this point dont be so emotionally invested in it my friend its just a sport.

I keep telling people that this wasn't the best Andre Ward.

If anyone thinks that Ward fighting 3 times 3 years where 2 of those 3 fights came in the last 10 months which just so happen to be against Barerra, Smith and Brand are kidding themselves.

Ward has huge nuts for even taking this fight while he still had ring rust. Big huge walnuts. But just know that Ward will only go up from here.

Talk is cheap. Save it for the rematch.

When Kovalev is at his best, his opponent doesn't make it 12 rounds.

if that fat dyke duva agrees to a rematch in the corrupt sheethole the US has become instead of in Russia she should be used as a heavy bag for Sergy. in broad daylight this country tried to fix a this election so a fight is peanuts for them

You know for someone calling Kovalev the bully etc I think Ward has talked more shiet when Kovalev brought up points talking about the fight he mentioned the dirty tricks that Ward is allowed to do and that's fair enough but Ward took it to a personal level and he's doing it again trying to down play the boxing lesson that Kovalev gave him.

It's beyond embarrassing, some fighters can have grace in their 'victory' others can't maybe because they really know they lost.

You know as outlandish as it seems I think it is absolutely only fair for Ward to entertain the idea of a big fight in Russia and If they get that billionaire Russian promoter behind this fight that would both give Ward and Kovalev a by far bigger payday...

The question you have to ask yourself is does Ward have the balls to do that, I say no, he ducked Adonis 2 fight contract i.e. One fight at 168lbs in USA the second in Canada at 175lbs and then he also ducked a big PPV rematch with Kessler in Denmark to fight Devin Rodriquez?
Then he also ducked a rematch with Carl Froch in England which would have been ANOTHER PPV!!
Then of course when he was offered the GGG fight he said I'm not ready and he fought some bum once again I think Adonis and GGG offers came in around the same time so he had fantastic options he was just too much of a dang diva to take them.

Most seem to agree that Andre, being more versatile, has more room to adjust. I personally think Kovalev can do a lot too if he opens himself up to it. He reverted to typical habits when Andre didn't go away and it lost him the fight.
The rematch can't come he soon enough.
                      Take a chill pill.

He lost the fight and he knows it. That's why all the talk. If you are more of a visial type - take a long look at Andre's face before the scorecards.

On the subject. Sergey doesn't need to change. He won the fight. Andre is one who needs to improve and some
                      more.
