Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder vs. Hughie Fury in Play For March?
According to Hughie Fury (20-0, 10 KOs), he is currently in negotiations to fight WBC heavyweight champion Deontay "Bronze Bomber" Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs) in March.
I think Wilder wins this fight... Oddly enough, I don't believe Fury when he says the offer was silly money. He has an insignificant resume and has a shot at the IBF title. If he wins, his status goes through the roof and he has a crazy amount of opportunities. If he loses, he still may land other fights depending on his showing and gets exposure that other fights won't give him. Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but Hughie comes off as a coddled daddy's boy in this article... Whatever. Make the Hughie-Wilder fight happen. It could lead to a Tyson-Wilder fight happening in the future, which I think would be entertaining at the least.

They don't seem to think like this though. They want the money and/or fame NOW. It's like they have no confidence that they could win. Kinda sounds like, "if I'm gonna lose I might as well get paid good too."
Wilder to begin with jabs to the head and body until he accidentally hits one of Hughie's spots, which bursts and blinds Wilder with blood and pus leaving him unable to continue. Fury TKO1.
