The sport is going through a really rough spot in which the perspective of what it is to become a professional fighter is so twisted that people defend mandatory challengers putting in demands to the champion and then pretend the champ is not doing enough to make the fight happen.
The champ calls the shots, and the challenger should do everything in his power to get a shot at the champion, not set the conditions in which the fight happens.
There are some exceptions with well established HOFs who also happen to be cash cows, but Jacobs is neither.
