Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez is raining down some criticism over the Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) being offered a 'flat fee' to fight Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (48-1-1, 34KOs) next September.

Well duh. Flat fee offers don't ever work in big fights with 2 elite fighters.

70% for CANELO & 30% FOR GGG SEEMS FAIR BECAUSE OF THEIR PPV AND TICKET SALES FIGURES!

You get the feeling that there's some jealousy towards Canelo, from some of his fellow Mexican stars?

Canelo the A side not Lil G if he wants to take Canelo shine he'll accept the flat fee and take it. If this fight isn't made its falls on Lil G shoulders not Canelo he already offered him the most money he has ever made in one fight.

Marquez has always been deeply butthurt over Canelo's success

jealous that ginger makes a lot more money, is more popular in mexico than he ever was, and can star in his own PPVs, something JMM never could

the old man will take any opportunity to talk **** about ginger

the idiot used to say that Abner Mares was a way more talented fighter than Canelo and would go way far in the sport. go figure
