    >>> Golovkin is going to drop his WBA trinket...

    ...Bank on it.

Brook has shown the world the blueprint on how to beat Golovkin and Jacobs is just as skilled as Brook. Only difference is Jacobs is a big 160lb'er with power in BOTH hands. Even HBO is on record saying that they want no parts of a Golovkin Jacobs fight. Do the math, Golovkin is gonna swerve Jacobs...

Ouma showed the World how to beat GGG ages ago...he was just to shot to pull it off.

You should be working someone's corner and show them exactly how to do it, if its so easy. You could have saved Canelo a lot of embarrassment and humiliation

I still say the WBA backs off of this GGG vs Jacobs fight must happen by mid-Jan. stance. I mean does anyone remember the WBA title holders tournament that got announced months ago? How is that coming along?

But sure if that doesn't happen & the WBA decides to stick to their guns on this I won't be surprised if the two sides can't come to terms & either K2 wins the purse bid & Jacobs won't get paid enough to agree to the fight thus drops his title or a PBC promoter will win the purse bid & GGG will drop his belt since he can't &/or won't be allowed to break his contract. And it'll be no ones fault really expect the business of boxing in 2016.

Canelo made fighting welterweights cool & now he's made dropping titles cool.

Bumlovkin fights a welterweight and you Bumlokvinites blame it on Alvarez.

This all would be funny if it weren't so SAD.

On second thought, it is funny.

            LOL...

It's still going on. Fury/Klitschko is the hold up. They just resolved the Browne drug test situation so they have to readjust. Ortiz/Ustinov is being held up on testing which the WBA will rule on

There is no reason for either one to drop the belt. The fight will get made

While it's not directly Alvarez's fault, he certainly did play a contributing factor. He wasted about 3 weeks of time that could have otherwise been spent negotiating with a willing opponent, rather than expecting Saul to be a man of his word

Is Fres Oquendo in it still?

Randomly, Boxing Scene Regular posters trivia for all the Boxing Scene Regular posters trivia nerds. The 1st amateur & 2nd overall boxing event Eff Pandas ever went to had Fres Oquendo (& future HW title bout participant Vaughn Bean, soon to be Olympian Danell Nicholson & future murderer & title bout participant Leonard Townsend) winning a Chicago Golden Gloves title which he won tickets to by knowing Jersey Joe Walcott's real name. And yes I talked about myself in the third person.
