    I think its safe to say ward was just piggy backing of GGG's name

    He wasnt ever able to fight GGG.

    He said himself he couldnt make 168

    Ward was also in a legal battle with his promoter who got him where he was. He wanted to be ae to select his own opponents and goosen was upset ward ducked bute.

    You cant make this stuff up

    Its safe to say ward was blowing smoke all along

        Kovalev-Ward, over two months out from the fight date, has already made more gate revenue than Golovkin's camp was willing to even tell the public (after moving down to selling $15 tickets to try and fill in MSG for Golovkin-Lemieux).

        Golovkin is "so big a draw" that K2, after running the venue twice, still wasn't willing to stage the full Forum.

        get over yourself.

                Maybe. But the "We'll beat anyone at 154-168...but Ward has to come down to 164" fiasco was a bitch move no matter how far up GGG's a$$ you are. Now that they're getting that same treatment from Canelo makes the situation even more ironic and hilarious.

                That ship has sailed though and both are moving on. One's fighting the #1 guy in a division he just moved up to, the other is fighting the #3 guy 2 divisions south.
