Kovalev had to be at least a cruiserweight, maybe even a heavyweight, coming into camp. GGG should have no problem fighting the winner of Kovalev/Ward at light heavyweight

Duva could see Ward and Kovalev fighting multiple times, though she wouldn’t discuss if a rematch clause exists in the contract.
In case Ward badly dispatches him (???) be sure that GGG will be there (to avenge his buddy).

Someone needs to start a boxrec for sparring "wins" apparently.
To me this **** is much ado about nothing. It'd be like talking about a baseball players batting practice on one random day like it means much of anything & without knowing his mindset or what he was working on that day.

Surely you know the difference between being knocked out and just being knocked down. I shouldn't have to explain the difference. Also, JDJ said Kovalev said he wasn't hurt bad but just got caught with a shot he wasn't ready for while he was out of shape.
Your thread title says JDJ confirmed Kovalev was knocked out by GGG. That isn't what was said in the video at all, nor did JDJ confirm Kovalev was knocked out.

get the living **** out of here with these mythical sparring stories.
they also said kovalov had too much love and respect to even hit golovkin.
put them in a actual pro boxing ring and see whats happens. kovolav outboxes him and probably stops him.

dude, kovalev admitted this years ago in a russian interview. he was out of shape, and was put down by a body shot. he and golovkin stopped sparring because they're friends, and the styles meant that they'd need to really tag each other to be effective.
